Our story

Living Hope Ministries is devoted to sharing the person of Jesus Christ with Honduras. From our ministry center in Tegucigalpa, we are reaching out to the people of Honduras, many of whom feel hopeless and helpless due to poverty, unemployment, broken homes, and broken lives. But Jesus is the hope of the world, and knowing Him and his love changes lives. Living Hope has been striving to spread this message of hope since its inception in 2004.  A ministry which began in the garage of Rex and Christine Morey as an outreach solely to youth has blossomed into a vibrant congregation.

As we watch the people of Honduras grow in faith, we praise God for the way he is moving in their hearts and minds and blessing the work of the ministry. We are grateful, as well, for the prayers, encouragement, and financial support we receive from our Christian brothers and sisters in the United States. As the ministry advances and more choose to follow Jesus, we ask the Lord give us wisdom and compassion so that the love of Jesus Christ may be revealed through us.
