How To Help

Just as we see through nature a God who specializes in variety, so too LHM has seen the needs of doing ministry being met by God in a variety of ways.  Our partners include congregations in various states.  Bible school classes and children’s churches also have committed to being a part of God’s work in Honduras.  Through offerings both from vacation Bible schools and weeks of camp, the ministry has been blessed.  Individuals, young and old alike have felt moved by God to make a difference through contributing to LHM.

The work of Living Hope Ministries has been and is sustained economically by God through the generosity of financial partners.  We have been witnesses to God’s faithfulness as we’ve experienced His provision time and time again.  A child hit by a car being cared for in a private clinic, school supplies being distributed to students as they prepare for another year of classes, a women’s conference being underwritten so that the entrance fee is not overly burdensome, the purchase of a dependable vehicle for ministry transportation, and the acquisition of property on which will be built a ministry center are just a few examples of how God has provided at opportune times through people just like you.

General ministry expenses such as salaries, rent, utilities, transportation, and supplies, though not flashy, are all part of the cost of reaching out to a desperate people with the living hope found in Jesus.  And while the Christians here in Honduras give sacrificially to assist with these expenses, the ministry is continually expanding in its outreach as the Lord opens more and more opportunities.  For this we are trusting the Scripture that says, “And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”  - Philippians 4:19.

Perhaps it is in part through you that the fulfillment of this promise will be experienced.  Whether it’s an annual pledge or a onetime gift, monies contributed to LHM are making a difference as hope is being presented to the people of Honduras.  Thank you in advance for taking time to prayerfully consider how God might be leading you to share in Living Hope Ministries.

Matching Funds

Living Hope Ministries has received a generous proposal for the year of 2010.  A north-American Christian family has committed to matching funds donated for the construction of the ministry center up to the amount of $50,000.

If you encounter people who would like to contribute, they can do so by sending monies designated to the Building Project to the address listed above.  All contributions are tax deductible.
